1st UCB Golf Tournament 2025 concludes with grand prize ceremony

The 1st UCB Golf Tournament 2025 reached its conclusion with a grand closing and prize distribution ceremony at the Shaheen Golf and Country Club Patenga in Chattogram on January 24.

The event was graced by Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, Chief of Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force and Chief Patron of Shaheen Golf and Country Club Patenga, as the chief guest. Sharif Zahir, Chairman of United Commercial Bank PLC, attended as the special guest and presented awards to the winners of the tournament, which commenced on January 23.

Reflecting on UCB's involvement, Sharif Zahir stated, as per media release, "UCB is proud to partner with the Bangladesh Air Force, showcasing our strength as one of the nation's leading financial institutions."

"Sponsoring this prestigious tournament reflects UCB's dedication to fostering strong partnerships and supporting the welfare of the Bangladesh Air Force community," he added.

Further elevating the occasion, senior UCB officials, high-ranking officers from the Bangladesh Army, Navy, and Air Force attended the event, alongside Mrs. Begum Saleha Mahbub, spouse of Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, and Mrs. Tahsinn Mahbub, spouse of Sharif Zahir.
