A Timothee Chalamet-As-Troye Sivan T-Shirt Pops Up Online, Ahead of Actor’s ‘SNL’ Hosting Gig

Timothée Chalamet has been turning heads with his fashion looks and red carpet stunts during his promotional tour for A Complete Unknown, but the actor — and recent Rolling Stone cover star — is also turning heads on a new fan-made T-shirt that’s popped up online.

While it purports to be a “Troye Sivan” T-shirt, the tee — available now on Etsy — actually features an image of Chalamet playing Sivan from a 2023 episode of SNL. In a scene from the memorable episode, Chalamet appears as cast member Sarah Sherman’s “sleep paralysis demon,” which turns out to be Sivan (or well, Chalamet dressed as Sivan in a tight white tank top and floppy blond wig).

The Timothée Chalamet x Troye Sivan T-shirt comes on the heels of the actor’s appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend, where he’s pulling double duty as both host and musical guest. It’s also trending thanks to a recent video where Chalamet was seen signing a fan’s photo of Sivan — and signing it as the singer. Could Sivan pop up on SNL to return the favor?

For his part, the Australian singer responded to Chalamet’s impression of him in 2023, calling it “a weird fucking dream.” He later changed his Instagram profile pic to a photo from Chalamet’s SNL skit.
