Chittagong Kings spinner Aliss Al Islam has been called for suspect action, BCB sources confirmed.
Aliss had previously been called for suspect action in 2019 during his debut T20 game for Dhaka Dynamites. The bowler was picked by Chittagong Kings for their match against Dhaka Capitals in the first match on Wednesday. He will have to undergo tests for suspect action at BCB on January 25.
Aliss' action was called during the Chittagong vs Rangpur Riders match on January 17. The bowler would continue to bowl until the results are declared. Aliss has so far taken 11 wickets this BPL in eight games.
"When umpires call someone's action and report it, it is sent to the suspect action committee. It has been sent to the committee. He [Aliss] will undergo the test on the 25th. But in between, he will be able to play. After his results arrive, a decision will come," BPL's technical committee chairman Raqibul Hasan told The Daily Star.
