‘Anne of Green Gables’ recognized as heritage document in United Nations register

The manuscript for the caller “Anne of Green Gables” has been added to a United Nations registry that highlights Canadian heritage.

The enactment by Lucy Maud Montgomery has been included successful the Canada Memory of the World Register, administered by the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, successful honour of the author’s 150th birthday.
