Anthony Joshua vs Mike Tyson 3D simulation predicts one-sided fight and early knockout

A 3D simulation has predicted what would happen if Anthony Joshua fought a prime Mike Tyson.

Boxing fans love to debate fantasy fights between the current crop of superstars and legends of the sport – but no one will ever truly know how those matchups would play out.

That fact doesn’t stop people from trying to make predictions.

With the help of ‘Fight Night Champion’, one fan pitted Joshua against Tyson.

They simulated the fight, and it ended after a three-round beatdown.

In the tale of the tape for the simulation, Joshua boasts huge seven-inch height and an 11-inch reach advantages over Tyson, who weighs 45lbs lighter.

Both men are 20 years old. At that age, ‘Iron Mike’ was already a world champion, while Joshua was still two years away from winning gold as an amateur at the 2012 London Olympics.

The height difference stuck out when the fight got going.

Tyson, who is 5ft 10in, quickly overcame the size discrepancy, as he did during his actual career, to open a cut on Joshua during the first round of their simulated clash.

AJ was badly hurt and dropped in round two – but he managed to survive it.

Just seconds into the third frame, Tyson caught the Englishman with a clean right hook to send him crashing to the canvas and ultimately bring an end to the contest.

Joshua will be hoping to avoid suffering a similar fate against Daniel Dubois.

The two men will meet in an IBF heavyweight title fight in front of a record-breaking 96,000 fans at London’s Wembley Arena on Saturday night.

A former two-time heavyweight champion, Joshua is looking to complete his comeback journey after suffering back-to-back defeats against Oleksandr Usyk.

Four fights and four wins later, he’s got the chance to become a three-time world champion against Dubois, who is coming off the biggest victory of his career.

‘Dynamite’ weathered an early storm before stopping the previously unbeaten contender Filip Hrgovic in the eighth round of their fight in June.

Dubois was named the IBF champion when Usyk vacated the title ahead of a rematch with Tyson Fury on December 21.

The winner of Joshua vs Dubois will likely face Usyk or Fury for all four major heavyweight belts at some point in 2025.

For now, all eyes are on Wembley Stadium and the latest offering from Saudi Boxing chief Turki Alalshikh.
