Billie Eilish hit herself kinda hard last week — and no, that’s not a reference to her album title. On Monday night, the Hit Me Hard & Soft musician shared a photo of a large bruise on her leg, which she got after falling down the stairs while exiting the stage at Madison Square Garden over the weekend.

The singer reposted a TikTok video of the fall on her Instagram Story. In the video, she can be seen waving goodbye to fans as she starts walking down the stairs to exit the stage, before she stumbles, falls, and quickly gets back up.

“But literally,” she captioned a photo of her bruised-up leg in the next story slide.

Eilish has spent much of this year on the road in support of Hit Me Hard and Soft, which arrived back in May. She’ll play her next gig Nov. 2 in Atlanta following a short break. (Perhaps her bruise will be gone by then!)

Eilish is scheduled for shows across the U.S. through mid-November, before continuing the run in early December. She’ll close out the U.S. leg of the tour with a run of five shows in her hometown of Los Angeles.

On Saturday, after playing MSG, Eilish performed “Birds of a Feather” and “Wildflower” from her most recent album on Saturday Night Live, marking her return to the show in less than a year.

Just last week, Olivia Rodrigo had an onstage tumble of her own when she tripped and fell through a trap door on stage. She quickly got back up telling the crowd, “Oh my God, that was fun! I’m ok! … Sometimes there’s just a hole in the stage. That’s alright! Ok, where was I?”
