The tour starts on April 30 in Phoenix and runs through Sept. 25 in Los Angeles. A portion of the proceeds from the LA date will go to the American Red Cross for wildfire relief. In a clip promoting the tour, Billy Idol finds himself running into Matt Rife, who keeps dropping references to Billy Idol lyrics. He’s forced to turn to therapy, with his therapist played by none other than Joan Jett.
The “Rebel Yell” singer’s last full-length was Kings & Queens of the Underground, released a decade ago. He’s released two EPs since then and appeared on Miley Cyrus’ Plastic Hearts.
