The annual street party, hosted by founder Dave Hause and his band the Mermaid, features artists who mix punk energy with troubadour vibes
Punk troubadours rule the day at the 2025 installment of Sing Us Home, the Philadelphia festival founded by native son Dave Hause. This year’s lineup includes headliners the Bouncing Souls, one of New Jersey’s chief punk exports, high-energy British singer-songwriter Frank Turner, and the host himself, backed by his band the Mermaid.
Set for May 2nd through 4th in the Manayunk section of the city, on Venice Island, Sing Us Home also includes sets by Philly’s own Speedy Ortiz and Buzz Zeemer, along with a reunion of New Jersey cult faves Mary’s Morning Deathbed. The Friday “Hause Family Campfire” will return too, with an intimate in-the-round lineup featuring Hause’s brother and musical partner, Tim Hause, the Alkaline Trio’s Dan Andriano, and folk-punk songwriter AJJ.
Rounding out this year’s festival are Mobley, Black Guy Fawkes, and the Philly duo Lullanas, along with Sing Us Home regulars the Ocean Avenue Stompers. Upstart band Quarry and singer-songwriter John Gallagher Jr. kick off the weekend with Day 1 sets.
As in years past, Sing Us Home, co-produced by Rising Sun Presents, and presented by Philly radio station WXPN, will highlight local food — Federal Donuts, Humpty’s Dumplings, and Winnie’s are all on the map; Philly cheesesteaks are sure to be available.
At last year’s Sing Us Home festival, Hause reunited the Loved Ones, his pop-punk band from the mid-Aughts, for their first show in nearly eight years. Hause’s latest album, Drive It Like It’s Stolen, was released in 2023.
Three-day VIP tickets are sold out, but GA passes are available at the festival’s website.
