Rema Announces Heis World Tour With Madison Square Garden Stop

Rema is on a roll: the Afrobeats star has announced a Heis World Tour after dropping his highly anticipated new single “Baby (Is It A Crime)” last week. Named for his smash second studio album, Heis, the 23-date trek will see him playing its hits and more from across his six-year career. You can find the full list of tour dates below. 

Newly announced shows include New York City’s Madison Square Garden (where he follows Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido as the first Nigerian acts to headline the venue), Paris’ Accor Arena, and Mexico City’s Cercle Odyssey. An artist presale will begin on Feb. 11, and a separate Spotify presale will start on Feb. 12. Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Feb. 13. Each drop will begin at 10 a.m. local time. 

At the 67th Grammys on Feb. 2, Heis was nominated for Best Global Album. Rolling Stone named it the 11th best album of 2024 and the single “Ozeba,” the second-best Afropop song of the year after Tems’ “Love Me, Jeje.” At the Heis listening party at New York City’s Musica nightclub last August, Rema thrilled rain-soaked fans with a live celebration of the fiery album on stage. “I don’t wanna take too much of your time, I wanna say thank you for coming out tonight,” he said with a sheepish, bright white grin, empathizing with the damp crowd before powering through the tracks. “I want nothing but your energy.”
