Three shows into Thom Yorke’s solo Everything tour, the singer has continued to perform track from both his solo, side project and Radiohead catalogs that haven’t been performed in years, or decades, or ever. That trend continued Saturday night in Auckland, New Zealand, where Yorke unearthed Radiohead’s”Sail to the Moon” for the first time in over 16 years.

The performance of the fan favorite Hail to the Thief piano ballad was the first time Yorke had played the track live since a Radiohead concert in May 2008, as well as Yorke’s first solo rendition of “Sail to the Moon” since performing the track at a pair of Bridge School Benefit concerts back in 2002.

Yorke previously revived HTTT‘s opener “Packt Like Sardines in Crushd Tin Box” for the first time in 12 years at the tour’s opening, and will further reexamine that 2003 album with a staging of Hamlet Hail to the Thief in June 2025.

True to its title, Yorke’s “Everything” tour has featured the singer mining all corners of his catalogs, from the first-ever performance of his Twilight: New Moon soundtrack contribution “Hearing Damage” to the live debut of new song “Back in the Game.”

Yorke has also used to concerts to play solo takes on Radiohead songs for the first time: At Friday’s gig, “Kid A” and “All I Need” were performed solo for the first time, and Saturday’s show featured In Rainbows‘ “Jigsaw Falling Into Place” receiving its first-ever solo acoustic treatment:

Yorke’s Everything Tour is slated to run through November, with the singer following up the New Zealand and Australia trek with a run of dates in Singapore and Japan.
