Following "Bachelorette Party" sketch with Ariana Grande and "Espresso," SNL drops quick follow-up to viral hit
The most popular Saturday Night Live sketch so far in Season 50 was a musical bit lovingly referred to as “Domingo,” featuring four bridesmaids — including Ariana Grande — singing about the bride’s bachelorette party debauchery to the tune of Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso.”
Given the viral success of the sketch (really titled “Bachelorette Party”), SNL revisited “Domingo” on the latest episode, but this time with a different singer as host/musical guest (Charli XCX), a different setting (a baby shower) and a different pop hit (Chappell Roan’s “Hot to Go!” instead of “Espresso”).
Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, Sarah Sherman reprised their roles as the tattletaling besties, with Charli XCX also on the mic to expose all the fun the mother-to-be (Chloe Fineman) had on her babymoon in Miami without her husband (once again Andrew Dismukes, who is not Domingo).
“We got facials at the spa/But Kelsey doesn’t talk at all/We say ‘Kelsey, get off your phone’/’Cause we know who she’s texting, know who she’s texting,” the quartet sing to the tune of Roan’s hit. “D-O-M-I-N-G-O/Kelsey’s texting Domingo/Thought that she forgot this dude/She’s sending him her pregnant nudes.”

Like the previous sketch, Marcello Hernández’s Domingo emerges at the end to rub salt in the husband’s wounds, this time informing the dad-to-be of their collective plans to co-parent their child in Miami.
In addition to the “Babymoon” sketch, host Charli XCX also collaborated with the Lonely Island as well as performed Brat tracks as musical guest.
