SPL 5 auction held in Oklahoma

The Sooner Premier League- 5 auction was held amidst great enthusiasm and overwhelming support from the Norman Bangladesh community in Oklahoma, United States of America.

The event, which marked the beginning of another thrilling cricket season, was further enriched by a series of vibrant cultural performances led by young talents, said a press release.

The cultural segment was skillfully coordinated by the dynamic duo Ferdousi Abedin and the Farabee Islam, setting a celebratory tone for the evening.

Among the highlights of the auction were the two most expensive players: Tasfiq E Alam from Category A, secured by Blazing Boomers through an intense blind bidding war, and Tasbirul Alam Zihan from Category B, acquired by Tornado Titans. Playing just his second season, Zihan's growing reputation made him a valuable pick.

The success of the event is credited to the SPL organizing committee, led by Imran Wazi, and the generous support of team owners, whose efforts promise an exciting season ahead. 

All matches are scheduled for Thanksgiving Day and will be broadcast live at the venue.
