In the clip, Lamar tells viewers, “What’s the deal everybody? My name’s Kendrick Lamar, and I’ll be performing at Super Bowl LIX. Will you be pulling up? I hope so. You know there’s only one opportunity to win a championship. No round twos.”

In the press room at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 2, when asked about the highly anticipated show on Feb. 9, SZA replied, “That’s King Kendrick’s performance, and that is all for him to divulge.” She added, “What I can say is he’s worked really hard on it, and I’m so honored to be a part of it.”
