Playboi Carti and Mike Dean will provide support during the North American trek
The Weeknd has announced a 26-date stadium tour in support of his new album, Hurry Up Tomorrow.
The massive “After Hours Til Dawn 2025” trek will kick off May 9 at the State Farm Stadium in Phoenix and wrap on Sept. 3 at the Alamodome in San Antonio. Throughout the tour, the Weeknd will receive support from Playboi Cart and Mike Dean (Carti, however, won’t be on-hand for the two shows in Los Angeles, June 25 and 26).
Registration for the artist pre-sale is open now until Feb. 4 at 9 a.m. ET, with the pre-sale itself beginning Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. local time and ending Feb. 6 at 9 a.m. local time. The general onsite is slated for Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. local time. Full info is available on the Weeknd’s website.
Hurry Up Tomorrow arrived today, Jan. 31, with the Weeknd celebrating the album’s release with a performance of “Open Hearts” on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. The album was originally slated to drop last Friday, Jan. 24, but the Weeknd delayed the release because of the wildfires in Los Angeles (he also canceled a planned gig at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena).
Hurry Up Tomorrow concludes the trilogy that the Weeknd began with 2020’s After Hours and continued with 2022’s Dawn FM. Abel Tesfaye has said that Hurry Up Tomorrow will be the last under his Weeknd moniker, stating in a recent interview, “Everything needs to feel like a challenge. And for me right now, the Weeknd, whatever that is, it’s been mastered. No one’s gonna do the Weeknd better than me, and I’m not gonna do it better than what it is right now. I think I’ve overcome every challenge as this persona.”
The Weeknd is also starring in a Hurry Up Tomorrow companion film that’s set to arrive in theaters May 16. The movie was directed by Trey Edward Shults and will also star Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan.
