"How does this work? I'm worried about my colon," Bad Bunny said
Bad Bunny might make hits, and take on the biggest wrestlers on WWE… but next time, he might draw the line at trying to consume the hottest chicken wings. On Thursday, First We Feast shared the singer’s visit to Hot Ones where the singer failed to make it through to the hottest wing — but made viewers laugh at his antics along the way.
“It’s a problem because they’re so fucking spicy but it’s really good… What do I do? It’s so good!” he said toward the beginning. “I should’ve asked my doctor before this shit… I don’t know if I’m getting used to but this is less spicy.”
Bad Bunny snuck in some hilarious commentary as he moved up each wing level and got more spiced out. “My ass is what’s going to be messed up when it’s time to sit down,” he said, and then questioned the rules of the game: “How does this work? I’m worried about my colon.”
About halfway through the interview, Sean Evans offers Benito some ice cream, and the Debí Tirar Más Fotos singer’s eyes light up. “That sounds nice!” Bad Bunny said, before taking a big bite and showing off his Colgate smile. “Ice cream! Is this coconut? Best idea ever.”
In the interview, Bad Bunny shared his excitement for fans (and Sean Evans) loving “Baile Inolvidable” from his new album Debí Tirar Más Fotos, as he explained how much he’s enjoyed the press run for the new LP. (It included a stop at the Rolling Stone office last month.)
“With this album, I know how special it is. I came with all these guys from Puerto Rico. Los Pleneros de la Cresta, with all the musicians that played in ‘Baile Inolvidable’ and ‘La Mudanza,’ and it’s a whole different experience,” Bad Bunny said. “It’s not only about me it’s about all of us… I’m bringing out a little bit of Puerto Rico to all these places.”
Evans asked if Bad Bunny was more nervous performing “Mala Gente” by Juanes in front of his elementary school or during his headlining set at Coachella two years ago.

“I was 10 years old, and I was definitely more nervous that day than the Coachella performance. I don’t remember anything because I was in my own world,” Bad Bunny said. “I remember the floor because I was looking at the floor the whole presentation. It was a fear I had to beat to be in front of the people.”
“I was scared. But if I wanted to get successful, I had to perform in front of people so it was part of my evolution as a person and an artist,” he added.
As he reached near the end of the challenge, Bad Bunny removed his hat, and spit out the wing he was eating before ultimately giving up, joining the short list of guests who failed to make it through to the end. “I died. My tongue, fuck! Where do I put my tongue?” he said, before placing his spiced-out tongue in ice cream. “My face is burning. My face. Is. Burning.”
Evans tied up the interview by asking Benito what he hopes his legacy will be, as Bad Bunny ate some more of his ice cream.
“That question always sounds so profound. I don’t look at things in that way,” he said. “I’ve always wanted to say I never changed. I’m still the kid who dreamt of shining and being known around the world… I want [my legacy] to be being from Puerto Rico, from Vega Baja. And that’s how I was able to get to places I never imagined.”
