नवी दिल्ली, पुढारी वृत्तसेवा : न्यायमूर्ती मनमोहन यांनी आज (दि. २९ सप्‍टेंबर) दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालयाचे मुख्य न्यायाधीश म्हणून घेतली शपथ. नायब राज्यपाल व्ही. के. सक्सेना यांनी त्‍यांना पदाची शपथ दिली. राज निवास येथे झालेल्या शपथविधी सोहळ्याला मुख्यमंत्री अतिशी, दिल्लीचे मुख्य सचिव, पोलिस आयुक्त आणि दिल्ली सरकार, न्यायपालिकेचे इतर वरिष्ठ अधिकारी यावेळी उपस्थित होते.

सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाच्या कॉलेजियमने सुरुवातीला ११ जुलै २०२४ रोजी न्यायमूर्ती मनमोहन यांची शिफारस केली होती, ते कार्यवाहक मुख्‍य न्‍यायाधीश म्हणून कार्यरत होते. कॉलेजियमने आपल्या काही शिफारशींमध्ये सुधारणा केली आणि २१ सप्टेंबर २०२४ रोजी, केंद्राने अधिकृतपणे त्यांची दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालयाचे मुख्य न्यायाधीश म्हणून नियुक्ती अधिसूचित केली होती.
