89% of newly elected MLAs in Jharkhand are crorepatis: Report

Eighty-nine per cent of the recently elected MLAs successful Jharkhand are 'crorepatis', and among them, Rameshwar Oraon of the Congress is the richest with full assets worthy Rs 42.20 crore, according to a study released connected Monday.

The Jharkhand Election Watch and the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) analysed the affidavits of 80 retired of 81 winning candidates and recovered that 71 recently elected MLAs successful 2024 are ‘crorepatis', which is 20 per cent higher than the fig of specified legislators elected successful 2019.
