How to Watch PWHL Games on TV
League officials set an ambitious goal last year to have every game televised in the U.S. and Canada, and they’re close to achieving that goal for the 2024-25 season.
You can watch PWHL games this year on TSN and CBC in Canada, and on MSG Networks and NESN in the United States. Amazon Prime Video will also stream a handful of games online free for Amazon Prime members.
How to Watch PWHL Games Online
You can also watch the professional women’s hockey games online with a live TV streaming service like fuboTV. Fubo includes a live feed of MSG and NESN as part of its channel offerings, so you can use it to livestream PWHL online. Even better: Fubo includes free DVR so you can record the games to watch back on-demand.
Test out Fubo now with a 7-day free trial here. Use it to stream PWHL online for free without cable. Continue with one of Fubo’s many subscription options or cancel before your free trial is up to avoid being charged.
Another to watch the PWHL online without cable? Sign up for a virtual private network like ExpressVPN, which will let you set your location to Canada to livestream PWHL games online on CBC.ca and TSN.ca. A subscription to ExpressVPN starts at just $8 a month and lets you watch all out-of-region content, including live sports and entertainment.
We also like NordVPN, which you can also use to watch the women’s hockey games online for free. Nord’s plans start at just $3.59/month as of this writing with an online promotion.
The women’s professional hockey league was formerly known as the Premier Hockey Federation, and PHF games were airing on ESPN, but it’s unclear as of this writing if ESPN (or its streaming site ESPN+) will pick up the new PWHL games.
