CID inspector accused of misusing seized materials booked in Bengaluru

When the constabulary checked, they recovered that materials related to 24 cases were missing though it was shown arsenic recovered. This includes pen drives, integer evidence, golden ornaments, and documents among different things.

According to a constabulary source, the incumbent constabulary inspector of JP Nagar, Radhakrishna T S, who assumed complaint from April 24, 2022, had asked Hitendra orally respective times to handover the seized materials to which Hitendra ne'er responded positively.

Subsequently, Radhakrishna besides made authoritative communications but Hithendra failed to respond. Then, Deputy Commissioner of Police (south) issued a announcement to Hithendra connected May 22 this year, seeking to handover the materials. However, Hithendra did not fuss to respond which prompted ineligible proceedings against the policeman.

Radhakrishna successful his ailment said, “Since determination is misuse of properties that were recovered by not handing them implicit to the succeeding officer, indispensable ineligible enactment has to beryllium initiated against the said officer.”

The constabulary person registered the lawsuit nether Section 409 (criminal breach of spot by nationalist servant) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
