Two Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) successful Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, were suspended aft a video of them cutting a day barroom with “habitual criminals” went viral connected societal media.
The 2 constabulary officers were identified arsenic Sunil Singh Tomar and Jagdish Thakur, who were stationed astatine the Nai Abadi constabulary station. The video, which surfaced Sunday evening, purportedly showed the officers celebrating a day alongside repetition offenders.
Although the nonstop day of the video remains unverified, Mandsaur Superintendent of Police (SP) Abhishek Anand some ASIs and sent them to the constabulary lines.
“A video of ASIs Jagdish Thakur and Sunil Singh Tomar, stationed astatine Nai Abadi constabulary station, has gone viral connected societal media,” SP Abhishek Anand said successful his suspension order. “In the video, they are seen cutting a day barroom with habitual transgression Pappu Dayma, who has respective superior cases registered against him. Upon reviewing the video, it appears that the officers engaged successful sedate misconduct. Consequently, some ASIs are suspended with contiguous effect and attached to the Reserve Centre successful Mandsaur.”
