Watcher beware…you’re in for a scare. AMC’s annual horror marathon FearFest is back in frightful fashion this year, bringing the scares in the lead-up to Halloween throughout the month of October. With 31 days of programming featuring 80 films and over 700 hours of programming — featuring iconic film franchises like Halloween, Friday the 13th, and A Nightmare on Elm Street — it’s a crash course in horror for genre fans old and new.

From now through Thursday, Oct. 31, AMC’s FearFest 2024 will be hosted by award-winning actress, musician, and horror enthusiast Janelle Monáe. Along with helming the month-long, monster party, Monáe has also curated a list of their favorite “FearFest’ Faves”, horror films available to stream on AMC+ during the month of October like An American Werewolf in London, Candyman (1992), The Fly, Jeepers Creepers and more. Other programming highlights will include an all-day A Nightmare on Elm Street marathon honoring the 40th anniversary of Wes Craven’s classic slashers on Friday, Oct. 4, and a “Fear of the 80s” marathon showing Child’s Play, Poltergeist, and more from one of the pulpiest horror decades on Sunday, Oct. 13.
