Mayor Eric Adams' chief adviser, Ingrid Lewis-Martin, issued federal subpoena, has cellphone seized

Embattled New York City Mayor Eric Adams' main adviser, Ingrid Lewis-Martin, had her location searched and was issued a national subpoena Friday.

Lewis' attorney, Arthur Aidala, confirmed to Fox News Digital that Adams' elder advisor was served a subpoena by the Southern District of New York.

Along with the subpoena, Lewis' cellphone was seized by the New York County District Attorney's office.

"She volition cooperate afloat with immoderate and each investigations and Ms. Lewis is not the people of immoderate lawsuit of which we are aware," Aidala said.

Lewis-Martin, was reportedly met astatine the airdrome Friday by investigators aft she got disconnected a formation from Japan and issued the subpoena, according to the Associated Press.
