Pellet-gun fired at Winnipeg high school, police investigating

Winnipeg constabulary said a younker was arrested aft a pellet-gun was fired astatine a section high school connected Friday.

In email to Global News, constabulary said officers responded to a weapons-related telephone astir 12:30 p.m. astatine Technical-Vocational High School. A younker connected the premises was taken into custody.

Police said “nobody required aesculapian attention,” but noted they are continuing to analyse and volition proceed to pass with the schoolhouse administration.

A missive from the schoolhouse addressed to the “Tec-Voc School Community” was sent retired saying that “an incident” had occurred and constabulary had been contacted.

It said, “students and unit remained harmless astatine each times during this process.”
