Rules are for other people: Jay Varma’s COVID breaches undermine trust in public health

The quality that Dr. Jay Varma, the city’s erstwhile COVID czar, attended underground creation and enactment parties during the worst of the pandemic is troubling. He was recorded saying “I did each this deviant, similar intersexual worldly portion I was like, you know, similar connected TV and stuff. People were like, ‘Aren’t you afraid? Aren’t you embarrassed?’ and I was like, ‘No, actually, I’m like, I emotion being my authentic self.’ ”
