Kerala weather News: IMD issues yellow alert for six districts

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellowish alerts for six districts successful Kerala for Monday arsenic mean rainfall continues crossed the state, officials said here.

As per the territory rainfall forecast issued connected Sunday, a yellowish alert has been issued for Thiruvananthapuram, Idukki, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Wayanad districts for Monday.

Manual observatories recorded 93 mm of rainfall successful Kannur Airport, followed by 28 mm successful Palakkad, 13 mm successful Karipur Airport, and 7 mm each successful Alappuzha and Kannur. Punalur reported 5 mm of rain, it said.

Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) and Automated Rain Gauges (ARG) reported 71 mm successful Anakkayam (Malappuram district), 64 mm successful Panniyoor (Kannur district), and 62.5 mm successful Panathur (Kasaragod district). Udumbannoor successful Idukki territory received 50.5 mm, portion Nilambur, Palemad, and Munderi successful Malappuram territory recorded 35.5 mm, 23 mm, and 20 mm respectively.

Other important readings included 22.5 mm successful Peringome (Kannur district) and 21 mm successful Karapuzha (Wayanad district).
