Latto, Quavo, Sexyy Red to Appear in Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed’s Pre-Super Bowl Livestream

The budding bromance between Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed is about to become a friendly rivalry. Ahead of this weekend’s big game, the streaming duo is leading a celebrity-filled roster for the Super Bowl LIX Flag Football Game, streaming live exclusively on YouTube.

Taking place on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 9:00 p.m. ET, the livestreamed event will see both Cenat and Speed (real name Darren Jason Watkins, Jr.) serving as team captains to a group of players comprising musical artists, NFL legends, and content creators from across the cultural spectrum. Former NFL players Michael Vick and Cam Newton will play quarterbacks for Cenat and Speed’s teams, respectively, with WNBA All-Star Angel Reese taking on coaching duties for Team Kai. The coach for Team Speed has yet to be announced.

According to a statement provided to Rolling Stone, other big names confirmed to make an appearance include former NFL wide receiver Andrew “Hawk” Hawkins and sports broadcast journalist Taylor Rooks calling the game, with comedian Druski as head referee. NFL Network sportscaster Rich Eisen will kick off the show alongside special guest Jason Kelce, whose brother Travis Kelce will be competing for the Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LIX the following Sunday.

“Football’s been my whole life, and now it’s fun to see it blend with my YouTube channel,” Jason Kelce said in a statement to Rolling Stone. “This flag football game is a chance to learn from people like Rich Eisen — he is a legend when it comes to bringing killer NFL content to YouTube.”

Sportcaster Kay Adams will host the official pregame show, airing exclusively on the NFL’s YouTube channel, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the evening’s game.

The confirmed lineup for the seven-on-seven flag football match includes Team Speed with Cam Newton as quarterback, comedian Mark Phillips, YouTuber Adam W, streamer Plaqueboy Max, influencer Khaby, Mexican flag football player Diana Flores, and artists Latto, Quavo, and Sexyy Red. Joining Team Kai are quarterback Michael Vick, Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles, college football player Shedeur Sanders, singer Teyana Taylor, director Cole Bennett, American flag football champion Ki’Lolo Westerlund, as well as YouTubers Duke Dennis, Deestroying, and MMG.

The game will take place at the Play Football Field at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. In-person tickets are on sale via the Super Bowl website.

The Super Bowl LIX Flag Football Game is just the latest team-up for Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed, with the streamers regularly dropping in on each other’s Twitch and YouTube channels. The creators recently appeared together at last week’s WWE Royale Rumble, where Speed himself subbed in as a participant before being quickly eliminated by wrestler Bron Breakker. The streamer later revealed to creator-turned-WWE superstar Logan Paul that he had sustained a gnarly leg injury during the rumble.

In the lead-up to this weekend’s main event, Cenat and Speed committed to a dual-hosted streaming marathon on Feb. 4, partnering up to play Fortnite’s OG Season Two until they manage to win the battle royale game. After more than 10 hours, the pair finally managed to eek out a win. The livestream served as a follow-up to their original Fortnite stream in December 2024, which lasted a grueling 57 hours.

The Super Bowl LIX Flag Football Game can be watched live Saturday, Feb. 8 at 9:00 p.m. ET on the NFL, IShowSpeed, and Rich Eisen Show’s YouTube channels.
