RECIPE:

Part 1 – Citrus & Butter Braised Endives: 

Ingredients:

  • 4 Belgian endives
  • 100g butter
  • 1 liter orangish juice
  • 1 cupful lime juice
  • 1/2 cupful brownish sugar
  • 1 pinch chili flakes
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch fennel seeds
  • 1 prima anise
  • 2 bay leaves
