Walmart Just Marked Down the Nintendo Switch Oled

Attention first-time or returning gamers! If you’re looking to get your first Nintendo Switch, or thinking about making a return to gaming after years away from holding a controller, then retailers from across the internet — like Walmart and Amazon — are offering bundles and deals on all sorts of Nintendo Switch consoles.

After being nearly impossible to find over the last few years, thanks to increased demand, and supply constraints, gaming console is on sale. We even found some of the best deals on Nintendo Switch games.

1. Nintendo Switch OLED

Right now, Walmart has the Nintendo Switch OLED on sale for $307, or $42 off its list price — a nearly 12% savings. This is the gaming console’s all-time lowest price ever. Inside of the box, you’ll find the console itself with a 7-inch OLED touchscreen display, two white Joy-Con controllers, a grippy case for the controllers, and the Switch dock to connect it to your TV.

2. Nintendo Switch

Meanwhile, we spotted the standard Nintendo Switch (renewed) with Neon Blue and Neon Red Joy-Con on sale for $259.99, or $32.14 off its list price at Amazon.

While Nintendo has since released the Switch OLED model in 2021, the original Nintendo Switch is less expensive and gets you almost all the same features, minus the OLED screen. Instead, the Switch is a portable gaming system with an HD touch screen, and a pair of detachable “Joy-Con” controllers on either side.

The console comes with a “dock” accessory that allows you to play games on your TV — often in a higher resolution. The consoles hybrid nature makes it an excellent choice for gamers who want to take a single library of HD games with them everywhere they go. One of the reasons for the Switch’s popularity is its impressive roster of games, including the latest entries, like Super Mario Bros. Wonder, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Pikmin 4, Princess Peach: Showtime!, and much more.

3. Nintendo Switch Lite Animal Crossing: New Horizons Bundle

If you’re looking for something more portable, Amazon has the Nintendo Switch Lite: Isabelle’s Aloha Edition bundle on sale for $172.95 (reg. $199.99). It comes with the “Lite” handheld version of the Nintendo Switch in coral. The lite version doesn’t have detachable Joy-Con controllers and is not compatibility with TVs via dock. Instead, it’s all all-in-one that’s lighter and more compact.

The bundle also includes a digital download code for Animal Crossing: New Horizons (a $59.99 value).
